What You Didn’t Know about Casio Audi’s Musical Career

Cassie Audi is a Brazilian musician who is regarded as a founding member of Viper band. He had a short musical career, and little information about him is available on the Internet. Audi used to play drums for his band.

Musical background

Audi joined Viper band in 1985 as a founding member and left in 1989. The band comprised of Brazilian teenagers whose musical style was greatly influenced by emerging British heavy metal and Iron Maiden. The members back then included Cassio Audi, Felipe Machado, Pit Passarell, and Yves Passarell.

Soldiers of Sunrise album

The band Viper did its first demo album, known as The Killera Sword, back in 1985. The demo comprised of songs, such as Killera the Princess from Hell, Nightmare, and Signs of the Night. These songs made it to Viper’s official first album titled Soldiers of Sunrise. Audi is credited in the album for playing drums.

Soldiers of Sunrise received mixed reviews from critics and fans. Most of the reviews were positive. Critics mentioned that the project showcased Viper’s skill and raw talent. Others said that the project needed refinements.

Cassio Audi continued to play drums as the album’s popularity increased. The entire production of Soldiers of Sunrise was simple. Though the band members were Brazilian and they spoke English as their second language, the lyrics showcased their prowess in songwriting.

Soldiers of the Rising Sun album and Audi’s departure

Audi also participated in the recording of Soldiers of the Rising Sun. The project received high ratings on the AllMusic website. It comprised of tracks, such as Soldiers of Sunrise, a title track, Signs of the Night, Nightmares, and Signs of the Night. Soldiers of the Rising Sun was released severally. After Audi’s departure in 1989, Viper continued recording new tracks. These tracks were part of their sophomore and most successful album known as Theatre of Fate.
